Join Cassia in a rhythmic flow of breathing techniques and varied levels of strenuous poses that stimulate the mind, body, and spirit. She uses a wooden stick called "Jo" for balance, focus, and intention, which works the legs, abdomen, and lower back. Cassia incorporates therapy bands, straps, and blocks to strengthen and align the skeletal system. Her classes suit all abilities, including beginners, intermediate, advanced athletes, injured teens, and retired people.
The vibrations of the quartz singing bowls, shamanic drum, and ancient rattles can open energetic fields, allowing sound meditation's subtle yet magnetic healing powers to take effect!
Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that originated in India 5000 years ago. This system is based on three aspects of our constitution called doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. According to Ayurveda, an imbalance in these three energies and a disconnection from nature can cause illness and disease. Therefore, Ayurveda emphasizes maintaining balance and harmony to promote good health and well-being.
Cassia is Certified as a Breath Coach. Breathing has such an immediate impact on one's mind and body that even the act of inhaling vs. exhaling affects the nervous system differently. It’s common to train in diet, exercise, and even hydration, but almost no one trains in breathing.
